Xató, a traditional salad Our cooking is largely based on fish and seafood which the fishing boats have just brought in. This tradition, and the secrets of the trade, passed down through generations of fishermen, have enriched local cuisine, embodied in typical dishes such as: bull de tonyina, all cremat, rossejat, espineta, ranxos de peixsípia a la bruta, allipebre de conill amb galeres, and our most famous dish: the xató.

There are also quality agricultural products, such as l'escarola de cabell d'angel (a kind of lettuce with spiked leaves, used in "el xató"), and espigalls (a local kind of spinach).
